INFRACON Infrastruktur Service GmbH & Co. KG is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH and provides infrastructure services for energy networks and plants. With its own engineering know-how and the expertise of Germany's second-largest transmission system operator and other highly qualified network partners, INFRACON supports all phases of the energy infrastructure life cycle: from planning and construction supervision, plant management and operation to other engineering services such as explosion protection, gas measurement technology and network calculations.

INFRACON also supports its customers in the transformation of energy systems towards a CO2-neutral supply with a comprehensive range of services. The approximately 180 customers to date mainly include grid operators (TSOs and DSOs), municipal utilities, industrial customers and local authorities.

INFRACON's areas of expertise:

• Planning and construction supervision: INFRACON plans gas technology plants and supervises their construction in all service phases 
• Plant support: Services relating to the maintenance, servicing and operational management of high-pressure gas infrastructure, including a reporting center for 24/7 event management
• Other engineering services: including feasibility studies and transformation concepts, municipal heat planning, project management for plant and pipeline construction, target network planning and network calculation, energy data management and explosion protection
